Privacy policy

Short version: your videos and voice recordings are kept in your own Google Drive, not on our server. Our server stores your account and your practice notes and progress. We don’t sell data, show ads or use tracking.
Who we are
Euno Shadowing (“we”, “us”) is the shadowing practice service at shadowing.euno.cc. You can reach us through the contact form.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Google data
When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and account id, and nothing else. When you connect Google Drive, we ask for permission to access only the files Euno Shadowing creates in your Drive (the drive.file permission). We can’t see any of your other files.
Euno Shadowing’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don’t use Google data for advertising, don’t sell it, and don’t let people read it except where you ask us to (for example in a support request), for security, or where the law requires it.
AI feedback
AI feedback is optional. If you add a key, your key is encrypted on our server, is never sent back to your browser, and is used only when you ask for feedback. The text of your note (the sentence, what sounded off and your recurring issues) is then sent to the provider you chose: Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter. Their own privacy policies apply to that request. Audio is not sent.
What we don’t do
- No advertising, no analytics trackers, no selling or renting data.
- We don’t listen to your recordings; they aren’t on our server.
- The administrator can see account details (email, join date, last visit, whether Google Drive is connected and an AI key is set) to run the service, but not your practice content.
How long we keep data
We keep your account and practice data until you delete your account. Contact messages are kept until they are dealt with, and no longer than a year.
Your rights and choices
- Export: download a full backup of your practice data from the app’s settings.
- Delete: delete your account from the app’s settings, or ask us through the contact form. This removes your account, practice data, AI key and reminder settings from our database. Files in your Google Drive stay yours, and copies in your browser stay until you clear them.
- Revoke Google access at any time in your Google account settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK), you may also have the right to access, correct or restrict the use of your data, and to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Euno Shadowing isn’t meant for children under 13, or under the minimum age for digital services in your country.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
